Opinion/Editorial

Our beloved Country is now under a new ruler, his name is Liu Bang. Liu Ban is a horrible leader. He can not be China's leader he just cant. Words do not express how upset I am for letting this person be China's emperor. It's a great dishonor that us people do not understand Liu. He brought this country into war when we wanted to get out, it took four not one or two years but four to finish the war. People that weren't Nobel enough to fight in wars were on our side fighting for our country. He brought outsiders to help! Something has to be done with Bang.         But... Bang has had faith and confidence  Some of the other emperors lacked of. He is also brave and strong. Bang is a fighter not a leader.

The land was doubled in size in northern part of this Dynasty. The land expanded to the northern eastern frontier. The Han Dynasty was spit into two diffrent time periods, the Western Han and the Eastern Han. The Han's land mostly came from winning wars. China is alot bigger now then it was in the Han Dynasty, but the Han did have a fair amount in China.

Interveiw

Reporter- Hello Wu Di. How are you? Today I am going to ask you a couple questions.
Guang Wu Di- Hi, I am Great! Lets start!

Reporter- What types quality's do you have?
Guang Wu Di- The quality's I think I have are leadership, faithfulness, independent at times. I am a leader because of my smart thinking in how to run this country! I help others to reach what out country goal is. I also give specific orders that will help these people become more fond about the Han Dynasty. I am a faithful person because I would not dare to even brake a promise or tell a friend a secret. I am worthy of begging a trustfully friend that will be there in need and when there is no need for help. I am also an independent person because i have always been alone. My parents did not help me get the right education or right Carrier , so I decide to become an Emperor to prove to my parents that I can do this and my independent life has brought me to greater things.

Reporter- What did you like and dislike about the past Dynasties?
Guang Wu Di- What I really liked about later Dynasties is that some had groups. I also disliked that because you don't now what and is happening. You are confused in your own world. I also like the inventions in past Dynasties. I did not like some of the rulers because they made rules that did not make sense, but I still followed him anyway.

Reporter- Describe a difficult moment? How did you over come it?
Guang Wu Di- A difficult moment I have experienced was becoming Emperor because I had to build up to this and get succeed to this great power of mine. This was difficult because I would dream and beg my father to let me do things that needed supervention but I wanted to do them by myself. I wanted to be independent but my father and mother would not I had to be the best I could be and do the things I wanted by myself. I have succeeded  in this.

Reporter-What made you become an Emperor?
Guang Wu Di- Well I have not thought about this? I believe my child hood made me want to accomplish something that I can be proud of ! I love being Emperor and its a great honor that I am one. As I described in the previous question. My childhood was the cause of me being Emperor.

Reporter-Thank you Guang Wu Di, that is all.
Guang Wu Di- It was my Pleasure.

Inventions in the Han Dynasty

Paper was invented in China during the Han Dynasty.  This was an important invention of the time period because paper was used from peasants to emperors. Making paper was a great invention because now people can write on thin, light of weight  and easily portable paper were they can write powerful messages. These messages could of been a letter or a  note the emperor used.
Paper was created by Cai Lun and first used to write messages. Prior to the invention, people began using it frequently. It was used for recording the important events and data. Before the use of paper stones and animal skins were hard to get for writing down the important events and data. Paper was a big inprovment.
Paper has really changed people's lives in many ways. For example, before the creation of paper the people used cloth and wood to recorded their important events and data. With the creation of paper it was easy and cheap to write the things you had to remember. The invention of paper helped the Han dynasty and all of China it also helped almost every single country in the world.

Main Religion/Beliefs During The Han

During the Han Dynasty, the most common religion was Taoism. Taoism was based upon making less rules/laws and being apart of nature and also living a balanced life. This religion is important to the Han Dynasty because they wanted to live a life were they don't have to fight for what they need. They can live a well life doing whatever they want to do without many rules to follow in their Dynasty  The ruler or emperor can be less strict and have less stress with rules and laws in his Dynasty. This helps the emperor because his people will love him even more because they don't follow that many rules.

The other belief/ philosophy was Confucianism. Confucianism made people feel trusted and secure. Confucianism is based on if people with authority behave well, then people bellow them would follow their example. If the government let people have freedom, the people would more likely trust the government. This practice is good because it does not have many rules/laws. But on the other hand this practice was not as popular as Taoism and Buddhism. For this Dynasty they both were okay.  But all these beliefs or religions helped build the Dynasty more then before.

This Dynasty was also known for unification and expansion of China. Pottery was huge in this Dynasty. Emperors from this Dynasty would decorate their tombs with warriors, servants, and furniture using pottery. Literature was a part of this culture because during this Dynasty paper was invented. Trading was big in this Dynasty. The Silk Road allowed people to travel and export goods and come back with goods.
